  5. Patrick’s Day Paint Party Summary-Caryn/Tracey-this was a HUGE success with about 34 Seniors painting. They were so thankful, impressed and excited about the Corned beef and cabbage rolls. It was a very low key, calming event! THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE THAT VOLUNTEERED AND THE FANTASTIC ARTISTS THAT DID THE TEACHING!
  6. Quarterly Fundraising Report-June
  7. 3G Golf Day Summary-attendance was small but everyone enjoyed and loved the Golf Pro Eric. Apparently most PPB Golfers have already been to 3G Golf but the Yates family were so welcoming and thankful to have us and offered discounts to any PPB Seniors!!
  8. Fashion Show Update– No event lead, committee will work on finishing details as a team. Unfortunately the Ukraine Fundraiser is on the same day but we agreed to continue on so as not to disappoint our Seniors. We asked each member to try to sell 1 to 2 tickets. We will contact the people that attended the Paint party to see if they would like to attend the Fashion Show. Tracey will seek permission to sell tickets outside of mass at St. Peter’s, our flyer was in the Bulletin the past few weeks. We will send an email out to the committee members if we need help setting up once that day and time is finalized. Stephanie and Laurie gave an update on Model Interviews, Event booklet and refreshments. We will contact St. Martha’s and Sacred Heart Parishes to invite them to our event. OUR MAIN GOAL NOW THAT EVERYTHING IS ORGANIZED IS TO GET TICKETS SOLD/RSVP’S. WE NEED EVERYONE TO STAY AND CLEAN UP SO THAT THOSE THAT WANT TO ATTEND THE UKRAINE FUNDRAISER CAN GET OUT ON TIME. Pauline offered to donate her painting from our event to the raffle! Loretta has a few people she knows that may want to donate a basket. The Hotdogs will be sold for $1.
  9. June 15th Casino bus trip to Pa-Greg arranged and we need approval to start advertising. Caryn will get us that approval. $30 cost and $30 in chips to each attendee.
  10. Community Town Committee Fair-April 3 from 4-7pm. Theresa, Lucille, Loretta and ??? will work the table. Town goal-seek more members for each committee.
  11. First Friday Event May 6th-Theresa will be the lead with committee members helping her. Theme will be “Older Americans Month/Age My Way.
  12. AARP/ICE Project update-June will await the ok from the town and Caryn to make sure submission goes in on time over the next 24 hours.
  13. Town New Committee Regulations-coming in the future. We will hold a separate meeting to decipher and then share new guidelines with the committee. It seems like we will need to give 45 to 60 days notice in order to hold an event and everything we do will need to be given to Caryn so she can get approval via the town administration. This includes any Logos, giveaways etc. This includes ANY advertising of ANY events.
  14. SPECTRUM/Technology UPDATE-John D. Project development in the works with Antrim. Please forward any Seniors that need help with in home technology (TV remote etc.) to John.
  15. Chair Yoga/Drumming Classes-Caryn is working on this project for the future.
  16. Other-Luanne offered to have a “fitting”day at her store, for our female Seniors, in the future! Can we create a website that would have a list of our Yearly Events and dates now that we are over a year old? Caryn will get this answer for us. Since the Paint Party was such a success maybe we can plan one for this summer?
