- One big need from the survey was accessing email on their cell phone

- Total cost about $3,500 to $4000 hopefully split with Police and EMT/Fire dept.
- Will launch by advertising sign up, having available on Emergency Vehicles, as our giveaway’s at events. Important to offer to help complete the packet. Important to have one main database of who is registered.
- Goal: Show the mock up at Feb 21st meeting, roll out sometime in March.
- AARP Grant Update:
- Application must cover 8 Pillars of Livability; June will send this list of 8 Pillars out. Team, please look around and think of examples of this that we have already started in our town (any committee has started).
- In order to be successful in gaining a grant we will need to join forces with some other committees like the rec or arts committee to help meet the 8 Livability Pillars. For example: the 16 benches at Riverfront park are very old, replace with recycled materials. This would help our grant application and also helps the Green Team committee with sustainable jersey. The key here is our actions must cover a broad range of people and areas of our town, not just seniors.
- There is also another Longer Grant Program-getting the H Friendly Community Designation. If we can get this eventually, it will open us to a lot more $$ Grants. An example would be Brick. They secured a $400,000 State Grant and a large Grant from AARP and are now Building a brand new Senior Center that they will share with the EMTs. This will be on our future goal list!!
- Joint Forces Meeting Recap:
- June and Greg are our representative
- Main goal of group is to get a town wide Community Event calendar together so we can coordinate events. They meet 1x month.
- Group includes Chamber of Commerce, Sr. Committee, Arts Committee and Rec Committee.
- An example also is they requested volunteers from or group to man the front desk at the Health Fair Feb 4th (if it occurs). Will know 48 hrs before. Greg suggested volunteers send an email to Teresa for 2 hr shifts out of 4 hrs.

- We need ALL committee members to bake or donate goodies for our intermission table. This is where we can make some $$. SIGN UP SHEET AT FEB 21ST
- Lots of advertising planned. Teresa suggested the Chamber of Commerce Marquee by Vive Fitness and Patty suggested a banner in town. Teresa will arrange the Marque and we need a name to ask about the banner downtown?? FB pages, Next Door App, At the Elks itself, Mayor newsletter
- June and Adriane will be arranging an Email that will go out to all members asking for Models and People to join the committees that need help. Advertising, check-in/rsvp, Model recruitment, Liaison to the NHS students/Bio’s/Booklet, Decorations/set-up/cleanup.
- Dino will be our MC and arrange the mic/music etc. Thank you Dino!!!
- We need to come up with the exact list of what we will need at the next meeting so we can make a Printing of flyer free at town hall, Snacks, coffee, tea, water, juice should not come to much money and decorations we can do e! So I do not see an enormous cost. A banner may be the biggest cost.
- Suggested we ask John Palang to be our Easter Bunny (may need to purchase outfit?)
- June and I will get a Facebook post with a SAVE the DATE and asking for volunteers/models. June will give me the Holiday Party sign in so we can reach out to some of those fun people to Model.
