I. Call to order – Ryan Simunovich/Kieran Schultz

IV. Executive reports –
A. Chairperson Ryan Simunovich/Kieran Schultz
1. Open position updates- Treas and Secretary; need to fill those as we head into
next year
2. Reflections for recruitment and year- Ryan asked members to help bring in new
volunteers so we can really help the town in 2021.
B. Correspondence – nothing new to report
C. Treasurer Began the year with $22,457.12 (on audit). On
9.15.20 we had a balance of $47,046.41 (summer camp), which included Fisher
donations. Refunds of $23,100. Total expenditures for year total {$36,863.58}. Amount
for recreation trust as of 9 .21.20 is $ 10,439.95

Winter Wonderland update
New positions update for 2021- will need to re-vote everyone’s position in 2021
We had two really good events, but COVID got in the way.
V. Subcommittee reports –
A. Basketball Sean Hennessy- absent from meeting; Ryan reported
1. Want t o set up Spring Recreation Basketball
2. Pat Cavanugh may have interest to join and run the program
3. Goal would be to do outdoor basketball in the spring using local courts
B. Bonfire Kelly McGee

C. Family Fishing Day Derby Ryan Simunovich
1. No new updates for 2021
D. Social Media Kelly McGee
1. Posting for Holiday Light campaign
E. Summer Camp
1. No Updates
F. Summertime Surf Camp Scot Crowley
1. No Updates
G. Wrestling Robby Neill
1. Word is Boro and Manasquan are planning rec wrestling
H. Holiday Lights Kait Greenberg
1. $75 and $50 gift card secured from Joe Leone’s
2. Historically we sent an email out with all the houses and members rank homes
1-10. Top 3 were sent off to Doug in 1st, 2nd, 3rd choice. Create a judging form
for the committee. We should add notes in the community newsletter and send
an announcement to Antrim. Get Ocean Star to post a picture.
I. Yoga on the Beach Carolan Ammirata
J. Kiwanis Club Kait Greenburg
1. No updates from the Kiwanis club.
2. Pet Drive and Holiday pet photos coming- she will send to Kelly to post.
K. Skatepark Ryan Simunovich
1. “Grom-O-Ween”- Event review
2. Doug spoke to Tom Toohey- wants to schedule skate park lessons. Ryan will
follow up with Christine on getting RFP in.
L. Winter Wonderland- with Gov ruling this A M, we had to cancel the Wonderland. With the
limit now to 150 people total at the event, we can’t find a way to make it manageable.
Our plan should be to form this subcommittee earlier in the year so we can really boost
morale and fun. Look to start in March/April next year.
