Old Business
Approvals gotten from the town for:
Bon Fire (Sept 8)
Summer Camp at Pleasure Park (June 25-Aug 3)
Easter Egg Hunt
Our Easter Egg Hunt was a success! Numbers were a bit lower than last year but that was due to the snow/cold weather. A note to be sent to that the PPBPD for sending three officers (Officers Pinto, Refer, and Wilson) to make sure all was well. Officers were great with the kids and even helped us hide the eggs.
Next year we need to make a special place for our bunny (Lynn Vazquez) to sit and take pictures/interact with the kids. Maybe one of the picnic tables.
Camp 2018
Ads were put in paper for counselor applicants. We will need to interview this year. Victoria took care of all that last year but she is no longer with the program.
Book Club/ Chair Yoga
Both events have had no attendance and are postponed till June 2018.
New Business
Open Space
Maryann Ellsworth will be the Recreation’s Comm Rep to the PPB Open Space Committee.
PIckle Ball and Bocci Ball
Carolan Ammirata brought up that we should consider starting summer leagues. Both Maryann Ellsworth and Debra Bodine-Vazquez thought it was a good idea.
