- Vote on the ability for Recreation Committee members, who are actively involved in the committee, to receive 50% discount for Rec events held throughout the year. This idea was taken from another rec committee, and has been successful in increasing participation in the committee, as well as membership.

- Council Liaison Report Doug Vitale
- Doug gave an update on the kayak launch due to members attending the meeting. Doug gave a brief summary of the history of the ramp, and echoed the issues the local residents had with the launch, as well as some of the pros of the ramp. Open space committee meets in July so Rec can make a suggestion for Little Silver Lake. This would be a good beginner lake. Other location is at the end of Baltimore and Broadway. We would need to make sure the neighborhood is aware.
- Pleasure Park- mural is up one side. Ground is about to be laid down, park structures are almost there. Expectation is to be completed by summer park start.
