Best Day
All continues to be on track for our second year with this event. Pat Cavanaugh states that all permits have been submitted. Water donations are still needed. John Babbini suggested asking Stop and Shop. Delicious Bagel in Pt. Boro is hosting breakfast, and Surf Taco is hosting lunch. Carol Vacarro is in touch with Jenkinson’s who have offered to do goodie bags for the campers. Signs will be from Blazing Visuals in Pt. Boro.
Parking lot on NJ Ave is expected to be cleared for parking as beach work finishes up shortly. Bob Santanello will check so we may have use of the Beach Trolley for this event.
BonFire
Doug Vitale states that permits for this September 7th (rain date Sept 8) have been put into the town. He would like to use the same band “Dentist”. The cost of band was $300.00, he is going to check to see if they are available. Food was donated last year. Our towns various pizza places donated the pizza, and Stop and Shop donated the S'mores ingredients including the long sticks. Doug will check to see if that will work this year as well.
Family Fishing Day
This is a new event for us this year. Date is Sept 14th as not to interfere with the Seafood Festival. John Babbini has contacted Jersey Hooker who says they are willing to help with the event. Times and more information will follow.
