COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

July 25th, 2022 6:30PM-8PM

200 people attended – this is a larger attendance then in the past

There was a small profit from food sales.

Next year we will work with the Art Committee

  1. Registration System

Leaning towards MyRec.  It is less expensive and integrates with munipay.

Lauren Schule requested additional information – it is about $3250/year and includes training

It also has an ordering system for snacks which would help with events and summer camp.

212 campers.

Hired additional staff to keep within the ratio

The Fisher Foundation generously offered to help with hiring outside performers for the campers.

We need a vote to approve a raise one assistant director’s pay to the same as that of a director. This is a $2 an hour increase.

  1. Wednesday Night Concert Series Doug Vitale

Wed 8.17 will be a one-man show singing Fran Sinatra.

  1. Concert in the Park (Summer Jazz Ensemble) Rob Mercado

This will be with 8-12 grade students.  630-930.

Barbara Riggio is providing the hot dog cart again.  Joe Seickle has someone that will provide buns for free.

  1. Running Club *voted to take off for this year
  2. Trip to Blue Claws *voted to take off for this year
  3. Best Day *not doing this year
  4. Soccer Camp Tony Novo *will revisit in the fall
  5. Bags on the Beach Lou Vassalotti

10 teams registered.  Hard time getting sponsors for cash gifts and T Shirts.

Will be help 8/28 and we need to pay Jenks for beach access.

4 volunteers are needed.

Lauren Schule is working on the posters.

We have 2 new board sets thanks to Rob Mercado and 2 boards in the shed from last year.

Lifeguards have been set up.

Checking with Doug Vitale re: fire permits.

1 band is tentatively set up.

Cookie and pizza donations are needed.

We need cash tops for the Pizza delivery.

Suggested providing tixs for pizza to ensure each residence gets at least 1 slice.

There will be a 50/50.

Matt Longa will bring the generator.

We should have more than 1 porta-potty.

Matt Luongo is working on a TV system for easier viewing.

We will include the tug info on the residence mailed for the bonfire.
