Summer Recreation Camp
A suggestion was brought forth by Council Liaison Robert Santanello that any residential tax payer or lease holder (summer residents) in town children and grandchildren will be allowed to attend our summer camp. They would need to bring the child’s shot record/school health record upon registration. Motion was accepted by Debra Bodine-Vazquez, seconded by Maryann Ellsworth. Unanimous Yes vote by board. Camp dates June 25-Aug 3. Camp fee will remain at $225.00. We are still in search of a head counselor.

Best Day Program
Originally Risden’s Beach agreed to host the Best Day program on July 7 and 8, but they have backed out. The event has been moved to NY Ave Beach. Parking will remain at NJ Avenue with a shuttle to help move event goers to new location. Volunteers still needed (around 100). We will reach out to the HS Key and Interact Clubs. Volunteers must be 12 and older. Goodie bags needed, NO food. Robert Santanello will contact the Ocean Star and APP to possibly do an article on the event. Maryann Ellsworth voted to accept the motion, seconded by Carolan Ammirata. Unanimous Yes vote by the board.
