OLD BUSINESS:
 Holiday Light Contest
We had six entries this year for our fourth annual event.
Members checked out the various houses the night before 12/15.
The winners are:
1-508 Forman Avenue, The Barry Family
2-201 New York Avenue, The Seickel Family
3-303 Atlantic Avenue, The Umek Family

Carolan Ammirata will deliver the prizes the households on 12/17.
Doug Vitale will post photos of the winning homes on our facebook page.

Recreation Basketball
There have been a few scheduling problems but they are being fixed.  Doug Vitale will talk to Coach Fitzsimmons about  taking team pictures.  Various businesses would like to be able to post pictures of the teams they are sponsoring in their stores.

TECH Updates
Doug Vitale is working on our Website with Anthony Logotheth.  He is the  Point HS tech teacher.  The link should be up and running towards the end of the week.
Kieran Schultz will start an Instagram page for the committee. Keiran (via her sister) will also work on a logo for the pages. Debra Bodine-Vazquez thought maybe PPBRC imposed like a wave with maybe a gull flying just above.  Kieran has already given us a few options.  A decision will  be decided by the committee.

Summer Camp
Camp is at a stand still for the moment.  Carolan Ammirata was going to run ads for our director and also check to see if we could have our camp counselors be HS students.  This may mean an adjustment in our insurance.  Carolan could not attend this months meeting, to be continued in January.

NEW BUSINESS:
Our committee is still trying to figure out what new events we can hold during the year.  Our goal is to have one event a month.
Some suggestions were:
*Dance Event
Some instructions followed by a couple of hours of dancing.  Possible venue the fire station.  Start small with maybe 25 couples.  A BYOB event where we serve finger foods.  Maybe the instructor group might offer a coupon for a free lesson at their studio.  Time frame-spring.
*Open Gym for adults
*Open Gym for kids during winter months and after basketball season.
*Bring sport leagues back to the BEACH. Soccer, Tennis, Lacrosse, possible sports clinic for various sports, tennis and pickleball.  The clinics might be followed by a league should there be interest.
*Bus Trips to Atlantic City and NYC.  Maybe just a day trip or possible with a Broadway Show involved.  Debra Bodine-Vazquez will check on bus companies for fees to AC.  John Bobbini will check with casinos for possible free add-ons.
*WINTERWONDERLAND in Pleasure Park.  A December event with games, smore station, Santa, caroling, hot cocoa, etc…

Meeting closed at 7:55. Doug Vitale motion to close the meeting at 7:55 with John Bobbini to second.
Our next meeting will be January 27th, 2020 at 6:30

Respectfully submitted
Debra Bodine-Vazquez
