Open discussion:
Ryan asked committee members to check out the Point Beach Businesses spreadsheet (Google
Sheets) that was created by Katie DiCorcia (thank you Katie!!) in an effort to establish contact and
open up communication between this committee and local businesses. The idea of connecting with
businesses to post short activity-based videos on our Facebook page was discussed in great detail,
and Ryan indicated that he has spoken to several businesses who have expressed interest in this. It
was further discussed the benefits of generating social media traffic for the committee as well as
providing exposure for local businesses. Also, Ryan encouraged members to explore additional
ideas for virtual activities and to check out other recreation department websites. It was suggested
that the two recreation websites currently active be combined, and it was reported that the town owns
