Summer Camp
*Approval was received from the town to run our camp on February 13, 2018
Received applications of for camp counselors, Carolan has contacted counselors from last year who are still interested in being part of the program. We have three applicants (Kelly Rossetto, Robert Malone, Weston Bargholz) who are interested in being the head counselors and two co-second. We are not sure if we want to have a head and co-counselors or just two co-heads. Interviews will be held on 4/26 in the evening.
*We need to run sign up sessions for campers. Monday 5/7 at Antrim from 2:30PM-4:30PM for Point Pleasant Beach residents & Antrim students only (proof of Point Pleasant Beach residency required) and at Pleasure Park on May 19th & June 30th, 10AM-12PM for Point Pleasant Beach residents, local sending districts, current tuition students & taxpayers’ children and grandchildren. Also, anyone that has a full-summer rental (lease required). Pat Cavanaugh put forth the motion, Alison Sheehan second the motion for the two above items and the vote was unanimous.
*The art department at Antrim will once again have a contest for the design to be used for the camp t-shirts. Sponsors need to be gotten for the shirts. Donations will range in the $500., $300., $100. Carolan Ammirata will solicit donations from local business owners.
*Children allowed to attend our camp are:
-Children must be attending Kindergarten in Sept 2018 (no preschoolers)
-Point Pleasant Beach, Lavallette, Bay Head, Mantoloking taxpayers
-Year round rental residents
