January 18, 2023 PB Re-organizational/Regular Meeting minutes

 

 

The January 18, 2023 meeting of the Point Pleasant Beach Planning Board opened at 7:00 pm.  The Clerk read the notice of compliance with the “Open Public Meetings Act.  Present were Board members: Mr. Ritchings, Mr. Woolley, Mr. Bixby, Councilman Ramos, Mayor Kanitra, Mr. Paesano, Mr. Calderone, Mr. Cavagnaro, Mr. Gant and Ms. Mills

Absent:

 

Re-organization meeting

 

Motion by Mr. Cavagnaro, second by Mr. Paesano to nominate Karen Mills as Board secretary and Clerk –

In favor:  Bixby, Woolley, Cavagnaro, Paesano, Ramos, Ritchings, Kanitra, Calderone, Gant and Mills

Opposed:  None

 

Motion by Ms. Mills, second by Mr. Cavagnaro to nominate Mr. Ritchings as Chairman

In favor:  Bixby, Woolley, Cavagnaro, Paesano, Ramos, Ritchings, Kanitra, Calderone, Gant and Mills

Opposed:  None

 

Motion by Mr. Cavagnaro, second by Mr. Bixby to nominate Glen Paesano as Vice Chairman –

In favor:  Bixby, Woolley, Cavagnaro, Paesano, Ritchings, Kanitra, Ramos, Calderone, Gant and Mills

Opposed:  None

 

Motion by Mr. Calderone, second by Mr. Cavagnaro to appoint Robert Ulaky, Esq. as Planning Board attorney.

In favor:  Bixby, Woolley, Cavagnaro, Paesano, Ritchings, Kanitra, Ramos, Calderone, Gant and Mills

Opposed:  None

 

Motion by Mr. Cavagnaro, second by Mr. Ritchings to nominate Ray Savacool as Board Engineer

 

In favor:  Bixby, Woolley, Cavagnaro, Paesano, Ritchings, Kanitra, Ramos, Calderone, Gant and Mills

Opposed:  None

 

Motion by Mr. Bixby second by Mr. Cavagnaro to designate the Asbury Park Press and the Ocean Star as the Boards official newspapers.

 

In favor:  Bixby, Woolley, Paesano, Cavagnaro, Ritchings, Kanitra, Calderone, Gant and Mills

Opposed:  None

Motion by Mr. Calderone, second by Mr. Cavagnaro to appoint Glen Paesano as liaison and Pete Ritchings as alternate liaison to the Open Space Committee.

 

In favor:  Bixby, Woolley, Cavagnaro, Paesano, Ritchings, Kanitra, Ramos, Calderone, Gant and Mills

Opposed:  None

 

Motion by Mr. Cavagnaro, second by Vice chair Paesano to memorialize the minutes of December 21, 2022
