The August 17, 2006 Regular meeting of the Board of Adjustment came to order at 7:40pm. Present were regular Board members: Simon, Wolfersberger, Palisi, Cangelosi and Tooker Alternate Board members: Leonard & Reilly
Application #2005-31 – National Sign Service (CVS), 1201-03 Richmond Avenue; Block 35.01, Lot 2; Applicant wishes to remove existing freestanding pylon sign and replace it with a new 63.61 sq. ft. pylon sign with an electronic message board.
Motion by Mr. Leonard, second by Mr. Reilly to carry application #2005-31(National Sign) to December 7, 2006 with notice.

Application #2006-20 – Suzanne Lefabvre, 18 Danby Place, Block 121; Lot 5.03; Applicant wishes to replace existing half story with a new wider and taller story. Due to garage/ basement area underneath, interpretation is single-family dwelling with three stories.
Motion by Mr. Cangelosi, second by Mr. Leonard to carry application to a date to be determined with notice.

Motion by Mr. Cangelosi, second by Mr. Leonard to carry application to a date to be determined with notice.

Motion by Mr. Reilly, second by Mr. Leonard to memorialize the action and vote approving Application#2006-13.

Application #2006-29 – Thomas and Sharon Fitzgerald, 117 New York Avenue; Block 43, Lot 9; Applicant constructed a new conforming single family dwelling with the stipulation the garage was to be removed. Applicant now wishes to leave existing garage.

Applicant also wishes to restore the cupola that had originally graced the top of the structure.

Application #2006-12 – Miguel C. Diaz, 711 Atlantic Avenue, Block 57; Lot 6; Applicant wishes to add 10′ by 28′ foot addition to back of home. After lengthy consideration the Board determined that Mr. Diaz should try to reduce that percentage of building coverage.
Motion by Mr. Reilly, second by Mr. Leonard to carry application #2006-12 to October 19, 2006 without notice.
