Regular Meeting – September 4, 2014
The meeting of the Point Pleasant Beach Parking Authority was officially opened at 6:00 p.m. at 416 New Jersey Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey. Open Public Meetings Act Statement was read into the record
Present: Commissioner Cheasty, Caruso, Bonsper and Corona
Absent: Commissioner Bassinder, Ray Savacool and Chairman Bonsper
Also present: Ray Bogan, Esq., Ray Savacool and Karen Mills, Clerk
Motion by Commissioner Caruso, second by Commissioner Cheasty to memorialize the August 7, 2014 minutes
In favor: Cheasty, Caruso and Corona
Opposed: None
Budget – Motion by Commissioner Corona, second by Commissioner Caruso to approve the 2014 Parking Authority Budget for submittal to the Local Finance Board.
In favor- Cheasty, Caruso, Bonsper and Corona
Opposed: None
Engineer – No comments
Attorney – No comments
By-Laws – The clerk stated that the by-changes had been noticed in the newspaper
Motion by Commissioner Caruso, second by Commissioner Caruso to adopt the changes to the by – laws
In favor: Cheasty, Caruso, Bonsper and Corona
Opposed: None
By – law changes adopted
Chairman – Spoke with (George Miskis) River Nursery about trimming and pruning the trees in the Authority lots for $2,600.
Motion by Commissioner Caruso, second by Commissioner Cheasty to authorize River Nursery to trim and prune trees in the Authority parking lots.
In favor: Cheasty, Caruso, Bonsper and Corona
Opposed: None
Authorization granted to River Nursery
Motion by Commissioner Corona, second by Commissioner Cheasty to approve the following vouchers for payment
