PARKING AUTHORITY
Virtual September 3, 2020
The regular meeting of the Parking Authority opened with the reading of the Open Public meetings act. In attendance was Commissioner Corona, Bonsper, Cheasty and Curcio.
Also, in attendance: Ray Bogan, Esq., Ray Savacool, Engineer and Karen Mills, Clerk
Commissioner Lubin and Councilman Migut were absent
Motion by Commissioner Corona, second by Commissioner Curcio to memorialize the minutes of August 6, 2020
In favor: Curcio, Corona and Bonsper
Opposed: None
Ray Bogan reviewed the budget and has no comments
Reviewed 2020 – 2021 Budget and Commissioner Curcio commented that the Budget still states that we receive a couple hundred thousand from meter revenue. The auditor was going to correct this. The secretary will contact for correction. Ray Bogan stated he addressed this issue with the auditor last year.
Motion by Commissioner Corona, second by Commissioner Cheasty to introduce the 2020 – 2021 budget.

Opposed: None
Motion by Commissioner Curcio to approve the late resolution stipulating the reasons for introducing late.

Opposed: None
Commissioner Curcio commented that Joe Leone’s employees are utilizing the lot next to the First aid building. We should encourage them to use their passes and park in the Rail Road lot.
Commissioner Bonsper stated he did not get a chance to reach out to John Trout about the potholes. He will do it before the next meeting.
Commissioner Bonsper commented that he would like Lenny (Clean Cut Landscaping) to clean up the weeds on Laurel Avenue lot entrance and do some seasonal plantings.
Motion by Commissioner Curcio, second by Commissioner Corona to approve the funds for the clean up of the Laurel lot.

The clerk will call RT Davies and get the price for grinding down the tree stumps in the Borden and Valentine lots.
Commissioner Bonsper will check the lights in the Valentine lot and Borden lot and develop a list of lights to be replaced.
Motion by Commissioner Curcio, second by Commissioner Corona to approve the following vouchers for payment.
