The regular meeting of the Parking Authority opened with the reading of the Open Public meetings act. In attendance was Commissioner Lubin, Corona, Bonsper, Cheasty and Curcio.

Also, in attendance:  Ray Bogan, Esq. and Karen Mills, Clerk

Councilman Migut were absent

 

Motion by Commissioner Corona, second by Commissioner Curcio to memorialize the minutes of September 3, 2020

In favor:  Curcio, Corona and Bonsper

Opposed:  None

 

Motion by Commissioner Lubin, second by Commissioner Curcio to adopt the 2021 Budget.

In favor:  Lubin, Cheasty, Corona, Curcio and Bonsper

Opposed:  None

 

Motion by Commissioner Curcio, second by Commissioner Cheasty to approve the request for the Book fair in Borden’s lot On October 10, 2020.

In favor:  Lubin, Cheasty, Corona, Curcio and Bonsper

Opposed:  None

 

Ray Bogan requested that we get the confirmation of insurance coverage since we are a separate entity. The clerk will secure a certificate of liability for the Authority.

 

Commissioner Bonsper commented on how many lights are out and that a pole is missing. John Trout will contact the electrician. John Trout has been having problem making contact with the company that supplies the lights. The clerk will contact the company this week and find out the cost for the replacement pole.

Commissioner Bonsper stated that John Trout would look into fixing the potholes.

Lenny at clean cut did not have time to fix the little league area, so Council woman Byrne has found someone to landscape the area and Chairman Bonsper told her that we would cover the charge.  Commissioner Bonsper commented that Lenny has not yet cleaned the Laurel lot.

Commissioner Curcio commented on how no commuters are using the train lot. Recommends speaking to the Mayor to stop charging so the commuters return and maybe spend money downtown.

 

Motion by Commissioner Curcio, second by Commissioner Corona to approve the following vouchers for payment.
