REGULAR MEETING
POINT PLEASANT BEACH
PARKING AUTHORITY
March 5, 2020
The regular meeting of the Parking Authority opened with the reading of the Open Public meetings act. In attendance was Commissioner Lubin, Corona, Bonsper and Curcio.
Absent: Cheasty
Also, in attendance: Ray Bogan, Esq., Ray Savacool, Engineer and Karen Mills, Clerk
Meeting with local business owner’s in reference to the new downtown parking pass program
Joe Leone from Joe Leone’s and Shannon Godwin from Point Lobster attended the meeting.
Councilman Migut explained how the program would work. Councilman Migut stated he would attend the Chamber meeting to reach out to the business owners that did not attend tonight’s meeting to encourage further utilization of the railroad parking lot.
The business owners believe that this is a welcome addition to improve the downtown businesses operation since there is such a parking shortage in town. They received instructions and forms to apply for their employee’s.
Motion by Commissioner Curcio, second by Commissioner Lubin to approve the following vouchers for payment.
