The regular meeting of the Parking Authority opened with the reading of the Open Public meetings act.

 In attendance was Commissioner Corona, Bonsper, Cheasty, Lubin and Curcio.

Also, in attendance:  Ray Bogan, Esq., Ray Savacool, Engineer and Karen Mills, Clerk

Councilman Migut was absent

 

Motion by Commissioner Curcio, second by Commissioner Cheasty to memorialize the minutes of December 7, 2020 meeting

In favor:  Curcio, Corona, Cheasty and Bonsper

Opposed:  None

 

Chairman Comments – Commented on the Audit Resolution. Commissioner Bonsper will check to see if Davies has ground down the stumps.

 

Motion by Commissioner Curcio second by Commissioner Lubin to adopt the audit resolution

In favor: Curcio, Corona, Cheasty, Lubin and Bonsper

Opposed:  None

 

Ray Savacool – stated he has reached out to secure a quote for the parking lot lumex light and pole. He commented that they were about $8,000 at the time of original installation. Chairman Bonsper stated that it will need a new foundation.

Commissioner Curcio – commented he had reached out to John Trout to inspect the pavers at the tree on River Avenue. Commissioner Curcio stated the whole top came out of the one tree on the property line and the tree should come down. Commissioner Curcio will follow up. Commissioner Curcio commented on the skate boarders in the lot; they were blocking traffic and have ruined the bushes and knocked out the sprinklers. Commissioner Lubin stated the skaters are out there a lot. Ray Bogan stated that a sign should be installed stating that no skating is allowed. Commissioner Curcio will talk to John Trout about a “No Skating” sign.

 

Motion by Commissioner Cheasty, second by Commissioner Curcio to approve the following vouchers for payment.

In favor: Curcio, Corona, Lubin, Cheasty and Bonsper
