                                             BOROUGH OF POINT PLEASANT BEACH
                                              Regular Meeting minutes– January 3, 2019
 
The meeting of the Point Pleasant Beach Parking Authority was officially opened at 6:00 p.m. at 416 New Jersey Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey. Open Public Meetings Act Statement was read into the record
Present:   Lubin, Bonsper, Corona and Curcio
Absent:  Cheasty
Also present: Ray Bogan, Attorney, Ray Savacool and Karen Mills, Clerk
 
Motion by Commissioner Lubin, second by Commissioner Curcio to memorialize the minutes of the December 6, 2018 meeting
In favor:  Lubin, Bonsper, Corona and Curcio
Opposed – None
 
Attorney’s Comment – Informed clerk Mills that the maintenance contracts were good through 2019.
 
 
Chairman’s Update – Lights are completed in Valentine parking lot and now we should get the lot restriped.
 
Engineer’s comments – Ray Savacool stated he would look into pricing for the lot restriping.
 
Councilman Cortes – Said he would look into how we can sell the 74 parking meters being stored at the Seacoast oil building.  He also updated the Authority on the oil tank in the Borden’s parking lot.

Commissioner Curcio submitted his resignation from the Authority. He has to step down for 6 months per his retirement agreement from the county position.
