BOROUGH OF POINT PLEASANT BEACH
Regular Meeting – February 7, 2013
The meeting of the Point Pleasant Beach Parking Authority was officially opened at 6:00 p.m. at 416 New Jersey Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey. Open Public Meetings Act Statement was read into the record
PRESENT: Chairman Bonsper, Commissioners Corona and Caruso
Also present: Raymond D. Bogan, Attorney, Raymond Savacool, Authority Engineer and Karen Mills, Clerk
ABSENT: Commissioner Bassinder and Commissioner Cheasty
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Commissioner Michael Corona made a Motion to approve the, January 3, 2013 meeting minutes, seconded by Commissioner Caruso. Commissioner Caruso, Commissioner Corona and Chairman Bonsper approved.
In favor: Caruso, Bonsper and Corona
Attorney’s Report – Has not yet heard from the owners of the “Long Board” as to the payment of the agreed rent.
Engineer’s Report: Issued RFP regarding maintenance contract. This year similar to last year –River Nursery was low bid with $8,475. It was recommended that the contract be awarded to River Nursery.
Motion by Commissioner Corona, second by Commissioner Caruso to award the maintenance of the parking lot contract to Clean Cut lawn care.
In favor: Caruso, Bonsper and Corona
Opposed: None
Chairman Bonsper – Received a call from Nick, an employee from”709” to see if they could utilize the Authority lot for valet Parking. After much discussion it was decided that it was not feasible for a public lot. Chairman Bonsper will call them to inform them of the Authority’s decision.
Motion by Commissioner Corona to pay the following checks, second by Commissioner Caruso

After the Chairman determined that there were no further issues to be discussed, the Motion was made to adjourn by Commissioner Corona, seconded by Commissioner Caruso. The Motion carried unanimously.
