The regular meeting of the Parking Authority opened with the reading of the Open Public meetings act.

 In attendance was Commissioner Corona, Bonsper, Cheasty and Curcio.

Also, in attendance:  Ray Bogan, Esq., Ray Savacool, Engineer and Karen Mills, Clerk

Commissioner Lubin and Councilman Migut were absent

 

Motion by Commissioner Corona, second by Commissioner Curcio to memorialize the minutes of October 3, 2020

In favor:  Curcio, Corona and Bonsper

Opposed:  None

 

Ray Bogan reviewed the audit and said it looks good.

Reviewed 2020 – 2021 Audit – Motion by Commissioner Corona, second by Commissioner Corona to accept/adopt the audit.

In favor: Curcio, Corona, Cheasty and Bonsper

Opposed:  None

 

Motion by Commissioner Curcio, second by Commissioner Corona to approve the meeting dates for 2021

       January 7th  

      February 4th

     March 4th   

      April 1st    

      May 6th            

    June 3rd     

No meeting in July

   August 5th      

  September 2nd     

 October 7th   

No meeting in November   

 December 2nd 

 

In favor:  Curcio, Corona, Cheasty and Bonsper.

Opposed:  None

 

Meeting dates approved and will be posted in the Asbury Park Press and the Ocean Star.

 

 

Chairman Comments: Spoke with Clean Cut in reference to the Laurel Lot in addition to his contract. Authority approved in prior meeting. Clean Cut will submit a quote. He also spoke with Darryl Monticello in reference to maintaining the bushes in the rear of the River Market which he purchased. The Authority clerk did receive a quote for a new light pole in the Valentine lot ($5,000). The Authority believes the quote to be high. Ray Savacool will look into a different avenue of securing the light pole.

Commissioner Curcio commented on pavers near the Borden lot that are dangerous. Commissioner Curcio was going to take a look and take pictures for John Trout.

Motion by Commissioner Cheasty, second by Commissioner Curcio to approve the following vouchers for payment.
