The mission for the Point Pleasant Beach Municipal Alliance is to address the prevalence of alcohol, tobacco and marijuana misuse and abuse through educational programming, public awareness campaigns and encouraging good mental health practices for our families and community.
The vision of the Alliance is to promote and enhance a positive, physically and mentally healthy community free of the misuse and abuse of alcohol, tobacco and marijuana.

- Talking Points – Introduce ourselves as a committee, a night to get together, give families to learn about one another, give parents a chance to visually assess their children. Important not to shame anyone who hasn’t been able to do this.
- Gift card: AT to speak with Chamber for gift card
- Solidify date – looking at April, a night to come together without distraction.

- Ice cream social: create an event to stream them into the programming
- Maybe an ice cream truck can come, COVID-friendly, kid-friendly information and outreach materials. Perhaps include SRO Derek O’Neill, so they know who they can speak with.
- Possibly host in warmer weather, let school know, reach out to the school to get a date for the ice cream social.
- AT: Jackie DiPasquale, Miss Teen NJ, father is chemistry/A&P teacher at PPBHS. Anti-bullying campaign and may be interested in joining committee. May join committee. How not to be afraid, how to rise above. May come on at next meeting to speak with the committee about her anti-bullying platform.
