#2 Historical Plaque Design/Layout
The Committee agreed to the design & layout of the Plaques to be manufactured with following exceptions:
- Correct left side QR Code to the Town Website (currently duplicated for Historical Buildings page)
- Change text of “MCLEAN AVENUE” to “McLEAN AVENUE”
- Plaques were voted on to contain mounting holes in each corner.
- Once corrected, send final version to Christine Riehl.
John Monticello is to investigate obtaining current pictures of the dwellings selected, which will be added to the “On File” pictures of the original structures for the Website.
Mary Pearce will assist with the historical background write-ups included on the Website.
The first Plaque Order is 15 units. They are for Commercial Buildings already approved.
Once the first Order is completed, the PPBHP Commission will contact the Fisher Family Fund for possible additional donations towards the second batch of Plaques. PPBHP Commission is asking Christine Riehl if fundraising would be appropriate for the next batch of Plaques, should a donation by the Fisher Family Fund be unavailable.
Discussion made on second batch of Plaques to be distributed to Residential Homes. A decision was made that the owner of the residence would be given a Certificate of Historical Significance. If the resident agrees to conditions, a Plaque will be awarded and must be mounted by the owner on the outside of the dwelling,

#6 Miscellaneous Topics
- Gottlieb Building Status: Construction funding at standstill until a building purpose or site Tenant is met.
- Severance House Status: The Manzo Family has demolished the Severance House without the PPBHP Commission’s ability to have a prior walk-thru. Owner did not show for scheduled walk-thru.
- Greg Cox asked PPBHP Commission Members to review his email from 3/30/22 regarding the Westwood Preservation Ordinance in order for The PPBHP Commission to adopt their own Preservation Ordinance. Discussion at next Meeting.
- Discussion held concerning if the Town will accept Virtual Zoom Meetings for this Commission, regarding whether a vote made by in-person or on Zoom is valid.
