Borough of Point Pleasant Beach COUNCIL MINUTES
The Mayor and Council of the Borough of Point Pleasant Beach met at 8:30AM. Mayor Barrella called the meeting to order. Present were Council Members Hennessy Tooker, Cervino, Dixon and Rizzo. The Municipal Clerk read the notice indicating compliance with the Open Public Meetings Act.
Correspondence was discussed with item moved to agenda for action.
Motion by Councilman Rizzo to nominate Councilman-elect Lurie to fill the Council seat of John Mercun, who resigned on October 19, 2009, was seconded by Councilman Dixon, and carried by the following roll call vote:

Clerk Ellsworth added item to resolutions listed below; Dave Cavagnaro, Parkway: asked about Consent Resolution 1, items h and d.
Motion by Councilman Cervino, to close public participation and adopt resolutions covering the items listed below, was seconded by Councilwoman Tooker, and carried by the following roll call vote:
CONSENT RESOLUTION 1:
a) Authorize Borough Engineer to advertize bid for front end loader purchase
b) Award contract to Mark Woszczak for Trenton Avenue trench repair ($5,450)
c) Award contract to CMX for Construction Administration Services for Lake of the
Lillies Dredge Project ($30,000)
d) Change Order for Wickberg Marine Contracting for rerouting of dredge pipeline
($81,589)
e) Authorize sale of municipal vehicles/impounded property through public auction
f) Memorialize approval of PPBHS 2009 Homecoming Parade Special Event
Application
g) Authorize temporary replacement during absence of plumbing inspector
h) Authorize Mayor to execute NJ DEP/EIT application with additional statement
