Beautification Meeting
   
The meeting was called to order at 7:15 PM by Gary Mecca
 
The following members were in attendance: Mary Steiner, Dave Cavagnaro, Gary Mecca,  Penny Mecca, Barbara Favato,  Sue Dietz, Maryann Ellsworth, Marylyn Ritchings, Dorothy Hadley, Maureen Kale, Beth Cox, Elia Desruisseaux
 
Minutes – Sue Dietz moved and Beth Cox seconded approval of last meetings minutes.  Approved unanimously
 
Gardens – Kathy Bixby has resigned, so volunteer needed to handle her barrels for greens. Dorothy Hadley volunteered to handle.
 
Another bid is needed for sign rework. Gary will again contact second person who hasn’t been getting back.
 
Holiday Decorations – Angela Fioretti will be away and is unable to coordinate garland decorating. Sue volunteered to head up starting with getting the garland from boro hall on Friday at 11:30am to put in her truck so teams can meet Saturday 8:00am to install. Email will be sent out and Andy Cortes contacted for help.
 
Reindeer – New reindeer parts need to be painted. Andy to give parts to Gary, Penny and Dorothy volunteered to do painting
 
Dave suggested that icicle lights remain up all year at the Gazebo. All agreed that they should.
 
Christmas Party Dec 12, 6:00pm at Dave’s house. Bring a main course or desert, Maryann to coordinate attendees and what foods are coming. Secret Santa with $15 limit optional.
 
Baking for DPW drop off bake goods on Dave’s front porch by 4:00pm on Dec 15.
 
Donation of $150 was received in memory of Beth Cox’s mother. Can be used now but intent is to make a planting in her name from next year’s budgeted funds.
 
Dave took down all the vines that were growing on town hall.
 
Suggested that public thanks be extended to Bay Head Landscaping at Council meeting for their work at Sandy’s Point.
 
Gary announced that this was his last year as chairman after five years. A new chairman will need to be elected at the January meeting.
