Borough of Point Pleasant Beach Minutes from the May 28, 2019
Beautification Meeting
The meeting was called to order at 7:10 PM by Gary Mecca
The following members were in attendance: Mary Steiner, Dave Cavagnaro, Gary Mecca, Kathy Bixby, Sandy Pasola, Sue Dietz, MJ Mitchell , Mary Ann Ellsworth , Barbara Favato, Dorothy Hadley
Minutes – Sandy Pasola moved and MJ Mitchell seconded approval of last meetings minutes. Approved unanimously
Three new barrels were put out. Inventory in reserve is six barrels, MaryAnn has flat and a half of white vincas for anyone who needs. Sandy Pasola and Cathy Bixby requested some
Garden assignments report by Cathy Bixby reported all gardens look pretty good. Three bushes need replacement at the sign and will be done in the fall.
Bridge at Sue Dietz garden spot at Randall and Niblick still needs Andy repair.

Library reading garden is now ready for the Little Red Library 125th anniversary celebration.
Gary handed out garden water schedules, any problem report to Gary
Dorothy volunteered to be water barrel backup for vacations.
Large flags any problems tell Mary or Gary who will contact DPW
Gary fixed hose at Cheryl Manzo’s spot at Boston and Harvard
Sign at Bird Sanctuary is peeling, Sandy will ask company who did the sign about cost of repair and see when town can pay for it.
MJ to check prices of flowers to another vendor.
Beautification summer party to be July 30 at 6:30pm at Sue Dietz house.
Andy and Gary put up small flags using the bucket.
Gary reported he will not be at the June meeting which will be run by Mary Steiner
