Maryann already placed bunnies and pinwheels in urns at Borough Hall.

Sue Dietz left the meeting in progress at 8:25 PM.
Status of Flower Orders: Waiting for update from Mary S.
Request to Plant Milkweed: Seabrook Farms is donating milkweed to the Environmental Commission but it must be planted on Municipal property and they are asking for help from Beautification. Gary suggested planting behind Band Shell and by Lake of the Lillies. Beautification is too involved with garden and barrel plantings and maintenance to assist Environmental Commission. MJ suggested asking for help from the schools. There is an Environmental Club at the High School. Will pass along suggestions of where to plant and contacting schools.
Public Portion: no one wished to speak
New Business: Elia asked what Beautification purchased with the Rotary Club donation (American Flags, poles and hardware). Asked if Committee could use another donation and what it would be used for (YES – American Flags, poles, hardware, garland, wreaths, tinsel and barrels).
MJ left the meeting in progress at 8:36 PM
Dave asked if anything was going to be done for the two long-standing members who recently retired (Sue Carey and Liz Hahner). Maryann will ask for $5 from each member to purchase Joe Leone’s gift cards and will coordinate purchase and mailing. A Condolence card will be sent to Mary Lynn Ritchings.
