  • 108 Central Avenue – will have Bill Brash evaluate tree Tuesday n late Jan/early Feb. when he prunes newer tree on Arnold Avenue

  • Landscaping at Borough Hall – old pear sucker growth and hydrangea removed.

  • Memorial Tree Program – Paver Company test paver ordered.
  • Commission Evaluation of streets nominated for a Spring Planting – Niblick, Seymour, Marcia and Chicago – all
  • Update Draft for STC Recommendation List for street trees – Ritchings
  • Container Trees – can we use the lot on Cook’s Lane – Byrnes. Students Ok for trees – Borough? Thoughts on containers for the Woodland Fence along Marcia Street.

  • Evaluation of native and non-native trees planted in the past years for success. – Renner – On hold

  • Borough Tree Removal – scattered borough property

 

2022 Goals – to be addressed

  • Ordinance for sidewalk constriction that will minimize sidewalk lifting by tree roots and investigate costs and provide a demonstration of concrete grinding.
  • Provide on-site training session on hazard tree identification.

 

DATES

 

July 4th and September 5th (Labor Day) are STC meeting dates for 2022 – we will change our date to meet at an offsite location or borough hall if available.
