AGENDA FOR MONDAY, 11/15/2021

  • ROLL CALL/INTRODUCTIONS. Hand out name tags/badges.
  • Motion to adopt last month’s minutes with corrections.
  • INTRODUCTION OF GUEST SPEAKER: Councilman Doug Vitale to speak on cyber security.
  • Treasury Report.
  • Upcoming event: Tuesday, November 16th – “Tea & Talk” coffee, tea and desserts served.  Chat with seniors, advise of upcoming events social for seniors.  Games will be there as well.
  • November Senior Chocolate Social, postponed,  hosted by Tracey Lipari. Do we want to reschedule at this time?  Or leave open for a future date.
  • December 9th – “Mingle and Jingle” party. Lead:  Caryn Byrnes.  Caryn to do table decorations.  Time:  12- 4 pm Firehouse.  Entertainment:  Anthony Di Deo, booked by June.  Catered by:  ________________ (get donated from?)  We discussed asking Fisher Fund to sponsor our holiday party.    Other ideas?  Giveaways. Raffle
  • Caroling on the trolley! Sunday, Dec. 19th.  Trolley booked with wreath, travel to seniors houses and sing Christmas carols to them. June to play keyboard.  All invited to sing along!  Someone print out Christmas song lyrics?  Each caroler will have battery operated candles to hold!  *Ask Fisher Family to pay cost of bus?  Whose on board?
  • Casino Bus Trip already booked to Bethlehem, Pa for Jan. 12th in conjunction with St. Peters. Cost:  Riders get 25.00 back in chips, so their cost is 5.00.  Advertise in paper, robo call, etc.

Theresa: mention about company matching funds, Amazon smile w/ holiday shopping?  Can list PPB endowment fund but specify senior committee.

3 D Golf:  would like to offer us off peak senior discounts!  Need 2 committee members to go meet with owner and       discuss dates/rates, etc.
