  1. Introduce and welcome new members added and approved since last meeting. New members give an introductory statement/background.
  2. Vaccine Update. (Caryn Byrnes).
  3. Treasury Report.
  4. Home Grown Fair this Thursday. We are all set!  Greg got 50/50 license so we can raise a little bit of money there. Christine Ranuro gifted a mani/pedi at the White Sands and beach towels (so we have that basket), I also requested a food basket from Joe Leone’s to be donated.  We will have corn hole, spin art, and giveaways with our logo on it.  All shifts are accounted for by volunteers – should be a fun day!  I will have a sign in sheet for seniors we may not have reached so that we can get our surveys to them.
  5. Our senior list for surveys is very outdated. I have asked the Mayor if he can get us an updated one.  The one we were working with had many bad addresses, unlisted phone #’s and some deceased seniors on it.  It seems we are not reaching all our seniors.  Our current survey response is:  _____ out of 450 sent.  So, we need to do better.
  6. Solicitation letters/ phone calls. Patti and Karen Testa report.  Beverly also volunteered to help with this.  Can three of you coordinate so that you are not hitting the same businesses?  Perhaps draw up a spreadsheet and each take 10-15 businesses?
  7. Patti Ascolese spoke to the Rotary Club. (summary of that).
  8. Senior Rec Night proposed date: July 8th, Thursday at the Firehouse on Laurel Ave. 6- 8 pm?  Games, light refreshments, chair yoga, paint and sip?  Thoughts?
  9. Senior Luncheon: Proposed date:  July 17th at the Firehouse.  Also at Thursday.  Times considered are 12- 3 and possibly have our senior committee meeting directly after?  Thoughts on food, hours, etc?
  10. Joining Forces update.   The Chamber of Commerce, Rec Committee, Arts Committee and Senior Committee.  Meeting monthly.  Starry, Starry night event on June 24th 7-10 pm. Big Band at the bandshell.  Looking for 5 seniors in town who know history of PPB,etc…
  11. First Fridays. Chamber asking GG to take on August 6th and come up with a theme to highlight our senior group/seniors.  Ideas?
  12. General Discussion.
