3. Secretary’s Remarks: Request that a vote be held to approve the Minutes from 8/14/2023 meeting
4. Update on Ongoing Initiatives:
○ Spotlight Artists at Library and Town Hall – Emily Gilman Beezley Art on exhibit from now through
November. Submitting a request to hold a Meet the artist prior to the October meeting. Looking for
more artists.
5. Update on Scheduled Items/Events
○ Sandcastle Contest – recap
○ Kids and Adult Art Classes – starting 9/21. Update on enrollment
○ Tech help – Carly Rehiel helping us with our website concerns and needs. She has been a great help.
○ Murals – The Jaeger Lumber new mural on hold?.
○ Homegrown – Scheduled for 10/22 with a rain date of 10/29. Need volunteers for the day of. Looking
for vendors; application sent out via email and is online
○ Scarecrow Contest – registration to go out in the next week
○ Seeking Vendors for Tug-of-War – application is on website
6. New Business:
○ Possible trip to local Art Gallery: A gallery of metal and iron work from the late artist, Michael Malpass
is in Brick. Plan a day trip there? Day trip to Grounds for Sculpture?
○ Holiday events in December?
○ Other ideas/plans?
7. Seeking New Members – Always seeking new volunteers to run and assist with events!
