  1. Chairperson’s/Treasurer’s Remarks

  4. Update on Ongoing Initiatives:
    1. Spotlight Artists at Library and Town Hall – Joan Tozzi-Ablahani’s work is currently on display at the Municipal Building in Sept through November,  A “Meet the Artist” is tentatively planned for 11/14 immediately before our next meeting.  Sheila Evans to exhibit Dec.- Feb.  Still working with the Library for monthly exhibits.  Looking for more artists.
    2. Murals – Daryll Monticello to chair; Jager Lumber and Lauren Kurtz on board for next mural
    3. Homegrown Harvest Festival – Kristi Monticello to chair.  Planning underway.  New event:  Scarecrow contest; registrations sent out.  Pie making contest registrations sent out.  Vendor’s have been selected and contacted.

 

  1. Update on Scheduled Items/Events:
    1. Juried Art Show – 2023.  Melissa Hood & Sheila Soyster to Co-Chair and given the project outline; meeting in next couple of weeks
    2. PartY by the Sea – Spring 2023.  Tracey Jackson is chairing this event – update
    3. Artist Registry – Judy Van Brunt is meeting with Melissa Hood on this to create a format for artists to fill in information. Idea to make a QR code post cards to hand out at events
    4. Art Walk – Dave Betten to chair – update

 

  1. Seeking New Members – Always seeking new volunteers to run and assist with events!
