  3. Secretary’s Remarks: Request to approve minutes from 2/13/2023 meeting
  4. Update on Ongoing Initiatives:
    1. Spotlight Artists at Library and Town Hall – Meet the artist with Shiela Evans will be on 3/22 @ 6pm in the Council Meeting Room.  Light refreshments will be served.  Heather Brown to exhibit April and May.  Looking for more artists for 2023
    2. Murals – revisiting in the Spring when weather warms up.
    3. Artist Registry – no update at this time

 

  1. Update on Scheduled Items/Events:
    1. Juried Art Show – Deadline for submission is Being extended to 3/31/2023.  39 submissions to date.  Melissa Hood, Lauren Kurtz and Sheila Soyster, chairs to provide update
    2. PartY by the Sea – Thurs, May 18, 2023; Lobster Shanty.  Tracey Jackson to update
    3. Art Walk – Approved for April 29, 2023.  Dave Betten, chair to update

 

  1. Seeking New Members – Always seeking new volunteers to run and assist with events!

 

  1. New Business:
    1. Light Post Banners in Town – We were approached by the council seeking artwork for the light posts in town.  We asked Sheila Soyster, Melissa Hood and Lauren Kurtz if they could provide art and would like to be displayed. This will be something we will advertise later to promote other artist’s work on the posts.
