Borough of Point Pleasant Beach HELP WANTED
PART TIME CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER – The Borough of Point Pleasant Beach is seeking applicants for the P/T position of Code Enforcement Officer. HOURS: 25 hours/week, will include a minimum of ten hours on weekends through the spring, summer, and fall. Applicants must perform varied types of office and field work, including housing inspections, enforcement of property maintenance codes, floodplain codes, issuing notices of violation, issuing summonses, and appearing in Municipal Court. An applicant with a NJ Hotel & Multiple Dwelling license/trainee certificate, Fire Prevention Inspector license, and two years of code enforcement experience would be preferred. The applicant must possess computer, clerical and communication skills, and work well with the public in person and virtually. Applicant must possess a valid driver’s license.
