Humans aren’t the only species to visit Point Pleasant Beach. We are currently experiencing a population of foxes. While some foxes are native to New Jersey, others were introduced to the State way back in the 1700s. For other interesting facts about these sly and intelligent creatures, refer to the NJ Fish & Wildlife web site: http://www.state.nj.us/dep/fgw/speciesinfo_fox.htm#management If you have any questions or concerns about foxes in the Borough, please contact our Animal Control Officer, “Muskrat Jack” at 732-295-1618.
