Borough of Point Pleasant Beach With regard to the Ocean Avenue and Arnold Avenue road resurfacing project, please be advised that the milling and paving of Ocean Avenue and Arnold Avenue will continue to take place overnight, Monday through Friday, where milling operations are expected start around 7 PM and paving operations are expected start around 9 PM. Milling and paving operations will not take place overnight on Saturday or Sunday.
The section of Ocean Avenue that is south of Arnold Avenue is being milled and paved first. Once that section of Ocean Avenue is done, the milling and paving of Ocean Avenue north of Arnold Ave will begin.
Concrete work will continue along Ocean Avenue, between Arnold Avenue and Broadway, during the day.
Please take note of the signs and notices posted along the roadways and ensure that all vehicles remain off Ocean Avenue and Arnold Avenue as directed.
It is anticipated that the installation of permanent pavement markings along the newly resurfaced portion of Arnold Avenue will take place overnight, on Monday, May 15th and Tuesday, May 16th . The installation of these permanent pavement markings will be done in sections. For example, on Monday night, permanent pavement markings may be installed along the section between the railroad tracks and Baltimore Ave while on Tuesday night, the remainder of the permanent pavement markings between Baltimore Ave and Ocean Ave may be installed. On-street parking will be prohibited overnight for the section of the roadway where permanent pavement markings are to be installed. Please take note of the signs and notices posted along the roadways to avoid a conflict with the construction project.
