Borough of Point Pleasant Beach Point Pleasant Beach is accepting job applications for Permanent Part-Time Building Inspector HHS. Minimum 5 years experience. The position requires valid license as a Building Inspector issued by the NJDCA. The successful candidate will perform plan review along with a variety of duties for the Borough which will include inspecting new and existing residential, commercial, and industrial buildings and structures to enforce compliance with applicable local and building codes. LICENSE REQUIREMENTS – Applicants must possess a valid license as a Building Inspector (RCS), (ICS), and (HHS) (Subcode) license issued by the NJDCA. Construction Official License is preferred but not required, other DCA Licenses and a Certified Floodplain Manager are a plus. The successful candidate will have good communication skills in working with the public.
