PART TIME CLERK 1– POINT PLEASANT BEACH is seeing applicants for the P/T position of Clerk 1 in the Municipal Clerk’s Office. RATE: $14.86/hour. HOURS: 25 hours/week. DUTES: Under the direction of the Municipal Clerk, in a confidential office, applicant will perform varied work primarily involving the maintenance, processing and filing of records, the retrieval, sorting and destruction of documents, assistance with OPRA requests, and other duties as required. KNOWLEDGE & ABILITES: Excellent organization stills. Must be familiar with procedures, polices, guidelines and programs used to check, sort, index, store and file records. Ability to work effectively with vendors, associates and officials. RMC certification, knowledge of record retention & destruction rules and regulations established by the NJ Division of Archives and Records Management and/or experience in a Municipal Clerk’s office is strongly preferred.
