PUBLIC HEARING TO BE HELD ON THE ADOPTION OF THE AMENDMENTS TO THE MASTER PLAN
BOROUGH OF POINT PLEASANT BEACH PLANNING BOARD
OCEAN COUNTY
TAKE NOTICE that on Wednesday April 14, 2021 at 7:00 p.m., the Planning Board of the Borough of Point Pleasant Beach will conduct a public hearing on the adoption of the Amendments to the Master Plan. Due to the ongoing public health emergency, the Planning Board will conduct a virtual public hearing by online video conference. The public hearing will NOT be conducted in-person; all Planning Board Members and Board Professionals will participate in the virtual Public Hearing by online/virtual means via videoconference and/or telephonically. All interested members of the public wanting to view and/or participate in the virtual public hearing should NOT go to the municipal building on the evening of the hearing. The Green Building and Environmental Sustainability Element of the Master Plan, previously adopted by the Planning Board on February 9, 2021, will be amended to incorporate recommendations by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and the Federal Emergency Management Agency related to flood damage prevention. This notice is being published pursuant to N.J.S.A.40:55D-13.

The Master Plan amendments that are the subject of the public hearing will be posted on the Borough website https://pointpleasantbeach.org/, under the headings “Boards and Committees” and “Announcements,” on file at least ten (10) days prior to the hearing date. Contact the Planning Board Secretary, Karen Mills, at kmills@pointbeach.org or by phone 732-892-3757 during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, except holidays, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, to receive a copy of the Master Plan amendments for review, or with any questions concerning access to the virtual public hearing.
At the time of the public hearing, any interested persons may appear and give comment/testimony. The Planning Board may take action on the Master Plan Amendments at the close of the public hearing on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, or continue the hearing to a date as may be scheduled by the Board.
