Small Business Lease Emergency Assistance Program

Attention small businesses:

Ocean County and the NJ Redevelopment Authority have announced a program to help businesses with back rent payments from March until October. The Small Business Lease Emergency Assistance Program will provide up to $30,000 to businesses that can prove they owe back rent due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Businesses of 7,500 sq. ft. or less must provide a current copy of their lease agreement and current NJ tax certificate OR a NJ business registration. The NJRA will reach out for additional verification from landlords and a certification that outstanding payments do not exceed $30,000.

The Program will be accepting applications on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications open tomorrow, November 17, 2020 at 9:00AM.
