This is a reminder to respond to the 2020 Census. Everyone who lived in the United States on April 1, 2020, is required to be counted.
The U.S. Census Bureau will stop counting residents across Nation, in less than four weeks. This year’s/decade’s truncated schedule for in-person contact will end on September 30. Those not counted by that date will not count for the next 10 years, for things like Congressional districting, State Legislative redistricting, and a host of Federal aid programs. The time to act is now. The Bureau will continue to accept online responses at 2020census.gov, until the end of this month. Communities will miss out on funding for critical public services for the next 10 years unless everyone is counted.
Time is running out! Every response matters!
