P/T Maintenance Worker/Grounds – The Borough of Point Pleasant Beach is seeking applicants for the P/T position of Maintenance Worker/Grounds. HOURS: up to 30 hours/week, M-F. RATE: $16.00/hour. REQUIREMENTS: Perform routine ground work and maintenance, address graffiti, assist with street sweeping and drain clean-out scheduling, pick-up refuse and litter, plant, water and maintain landscaping, fill holes in playgrounds, spray for weeds and insects, paint signs, benches, curbs and other items, clean restrooms, load and unload trucks, and a variety of other manual labor tasks. Must possess a valid NJ Driver’s License and possess or obtain a Pesticide Applicator Certification issued by NJ DEP.
